When my wife first learned that she was pregnant, we planned for a christening once the baby was born, but life got in the way and just a couple weeks before the due date, we realized that we had not found a christening gown for our daughter. We thought we had better get going with this, so we talked to the priest at our church and made all of the needed arrangements for the christening so that we would have everything ready as much as possible.

After we had all of the arrangements made, we knew that the baby would be arriving before we knew it, so we went down to the nearest store that sold baby clothing, thinking they ought to have a christening gown. We were astonished to find that they did not have a single christening dress in the whole store, and we thought it was sad that they would neglect such an important part of their consumer base.

While my wife felt like her hopes were crushed, I told her I would look on the Internet to see if I could find something online while she laid down to take a quick nap. Fortunately, I did not have to wait for very long before I found a great website that had some amazing gowns that seemed like they were exactly what we were looking for.

I browsed through the options they had on the website, but I was hesitant to make a selection then until my wife had a chance to look at them and give her input as well before we made any purchases. Once my wife woke up and looked at the dresses, she was almost bouncing with joy and she immediately selected her favorite dress and was also trying to convince me that we should order a communion dress that would not be needed for many years.

Almost right after I had entered in the payment and shipping information and had placed the order, my wife started to go into contractions and soon enough, we were heading for the hospital for our daughter to be born. We were so taken with this amazing little person in our lives that we forgot all about the order we had placed, but within a few days in was on our doorstep and my wife and I were opening the package and were very excited with what we saw, knowing that our new little wee one would look resplendent in her finery for the big day.
